We currently provide 80 beds in four community hospitals across Suffolk, which are in Felixstowe, Newmarket, Aldeburgh and at Bluebird Lodge in Ipswich. These beds are used for rehabilitation, management of long term conditions and end-of-life care.
Patients in our community hospitals are regularly reassessed and will receive inpatient care until they are clinically fit for discharge back home or to a nursing or residential home.
Please visit the Minor Injuries Unit page to see details of services provided. Visiting hours to the wards at Aldeburgh, Felixstowe and Bluebird Lodge community hospitals are from 2pm to 8pm.
A drop-in phlebotomy service operates at Newmarket Community Hospital from 8am to 4pm Mondays to Thursdays and 9am to 1pm on Fridays.

If you are visiting our hospitals, you will find vending machines on site for a selection of refreshments.
At Newmarket Hospital there is also the White Lodge Cafe, which is open from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. It offers hot and cold drinks, light meals and snacks, cakes and sandwiches.
